Fr. Luke Austin

We look forward to welcoming Fr. Luke is August! 
Fr. Luke was born and raised in Rutland, graduating from Mt. St. Joseph. He attended Cornell University, obtaining a BA in Government. In college, he played rugby and was a member of a fraternity. He then graduated from law school at George Washington, and worked briefly before entering seminary. Fr. Luke began working with college students in seminary, serving students from Notre Dame studying in Rome. Returning to Vermont, he worked with students at Lyndon State College (now VSU-Lyndon), where they joined their first UVM ski retreat in 2014! He most recently worked with the Newman Club at Middlebury College. He feels honored to now serve students at UVM and Champlain at the Catholic Center.
